Iftar Ramadhan I have been told is a term to denote a gathering to break fast together.
This evening the school had an occasion where teachers, parents and students broke fast for the day.
The Muslim counterparts then gathered in the hall for prayers.
It was good to see the many students gathering in a spirit of camaraderie as they ate for the day.
Some of us also joined in the occasion in oneness of friendship.
Many parents took the effort to come together for the breaking of fast.
Here are old friends; Ms Tan, Pn Zaini. Pn Zunaidah and Pn Rahizam. We have been friends for not less than 10 years; some as long as 18 years; that long. So this evening was a reminder of the thick years we had together.
This is commendable for it speaks of togetherness and oneness.
The boys are well disciplined during the breaking of the fast .
Look at Ms Tan and her heroes. She came partly for them; to encourage them to study for her History. They are now obliged to study harder for her. I am sure they will entertain her.
Madam Phung and Madam Aw are busy breaking fast too.
Friends of 2 decades. We were reminiscing how fast time flies and very soon we will be leaving the school. The old timers are getting older and time and tide waits for no man. We will have to leave when we have to leave. It's kind of sad when we talk about it.At moments like these we ask ourselves where have the years gone to and did we do what was right? We certainly hope so.
A night of togetherness and camaraderie.
