The Colorful Carnival

Fun Elements were rife this year; like never before.

If you think it is easy to organize a carnival; try it. Days and months of preparation plus a lot of sweat and tears will also mean rewarding moments. The carnival is done well when sufficient thoughts and effort are poured in. But the most grateful moments are when individual parents choose to donate generously. I wish to personally remember Christy Tee, Stephanie Ng and Sally Pee for their selfless attitudes and strong support. They have helped financially and morally. It is great to work with people such as them.

The Director of Education of Selangor was gracious to be our guest of honour; taking time off to be with us. He repeatedly reiterated that he has never seen a school carnival of this scope and nature inundated with such fun. He concocted the local ABC (ice kacang) and he showed enthusiasm and excitement.

How could he be not bewildered when his concoction was auctioned for RM200.00! His wide-opened eyes and mouth exhibited his astonishement! Parents here sure are dough-filled!

These pretty teachers turned canteen waitresses for the day; mari, mari, mari minum kopi!

These cute ones are ready to put on their best music and caught the hearts of all present.
The teacher is cuter.

By popular demand; the ghost houses. There were 7 of them ; all fully booked.

These painted faces thought they could frighten people with their facades; highly mistaken.

The King and Queen of Ghosts are the best represented to instill any possible fear! They look real; don't they? You notice the dismal look on the queen? How did the king manage to pull off so effectively? The younger ones would not dare to go near them...

It's water time ! Water games are the most popular during carnival times. It's officially allowed and all rules can be broken to accommodate fun.

Does she look like a teacher? Yes she is one. She is also the leader of fun and volunteered to be dunked!

Look at Miss Chan. She seemed happiest when dunked! Hope she would be in school in one piece!
But she was such a sport and received great support from the young and old; she bullied and was bullied !

This is a new feature. The paintings were done by our very own students; displayed for appreciation and sale. The guest of honour was very impressed with the display.

The pretty Japanese dolls backed by Madam Choo attracted many to have tea, coffee and fun at the cafe.

We also had students putting up creative dances and the crowd was surprised at the special performance.

Stars of Soul to Shine shone brightly on this day too. Most of them took great pleasure in showing their skills. The Tay brothers are deft at the key board.

Alyssa and Imran powerfully rendered their "Prayer" and entertained the crowd professionally.

The bright Vi Jia and May Yean were a hit !

Samuel Tee is versatile. The keys are under his control and he played beautifully; to be appreciated by skillful ones.

Oh how fun ... the local MJ is every each MJ ; what with his perfect gait and dancing legs. RM3.00 for a  shot with him. What is RM3.00?

The perfect entertainer.
Watch his dancing.
He is MJ himself.

What a Carnival.
One difficult to forget.
